TemplateXchange - Start Here
Welcome to TemplateXchange, the tool that allows you to change the templates of all the pages in your Turbify from one template to another (without a complete reload using the database upload feature.)
The following are a few notes on how to use this program, so you might want to print this page for further reference. Click here to print this document now.
- You will need Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher to use this
program, and if you are reading this message within TemplateXchange,
then you have already met this criteria. You will not be able to use this
program if you don't have Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
- Log into your store, click

and make sure Edit-button-position is
set to Top.
- Now click
,
and then click the link that says Text Buttons.
You will find this link in the section titled Experimental.
- You may also want to turn images off in Internet Explorer. This will speed
up the conversion process, but if you don't have too many pages whose
template you want to change you may ignore this step. To turn off images in
Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet
Options, then click Advanced,
and make sure Show Pictures is
unchecked.
- Go back to the content list of your store by clicking the
button, and expand all the sub-trees. You can do that by clicking on every
link that reads Contents: ... (note
the three dots at the end.)
When you are ready to proceed, click here to go to the main Turbify page. Once there, log into your store, click Advanced under Edit, fill in the template names above (we assume you are looking at this document from within TemplateXchange) and click the Go! button.
