Generic pages are those that cannot be categorized as products or sections in Turbify. These include general informational pages, a contact us page, a shipping and handling info page, an FAQ page, and similar content. Such pages can be set up in a variety of ways in Turbify: they can be created as section pages with no content, or as info-type pages, or as main-type pages, and they can have custom properties and templates.
Generic pages that are set up as contentless section pages can be migrated directly, because these pages appear in the Turbify catalog. However, all other types of generic pages must be recreated in Shopify by hand. The corresponding 301 redirects also need to be set up.
